    The Beer Garden

    The Beer Garden Bar

    Be the first to review

The Beer Garden is a local bar in the Westerleigh section of Staten Island, NY. It was opened in 2002 and originally owned and operated by a Staten Island native, Jerry Poyntz

His version of a beer garden came from his Aunt Lil. When Jerry was in his early teens, he would call looking for his cousin, Sean. He was told he wasn’t home and that he was probably at the beer garden. Jerry was a mere fifteen years old, and didn’t have even the slightest idea what a beer garden could have meant. When his Aunt’s laughter ceased, she then explained that it was the local bar down the street.
